Gardaí have arrested 8 young people following the seizure of scramblers, quadbikes and drugs in Ballyfermot.
The search was carried out as part of an ongoing operation into the dangerous and wreckless use of scramblers in the area.
At around 9am this morning, Gardaí carried out a search of nine properties near the Cherry Orchard Grove.
They seized a scrambler, two quad bikes, two e-bikes and heroin with an street value of €3,000.
Eight people in their teens and twenties were arrested in connection with the seizure.
Four people appeared before the Courts of Criminal Justice while one person was brought before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.
The operation follows on from from an incident involving scramblers in September in which a one year old child was hospitalised.
