The first episode of Celebrity Apprentice kicks off tonight on TV3 at 9pm. Over the coming weeks we'll be getting to know the contestants. I've had a sneak peak at the first episode and it is hilarious, particularly Mikey Graham. He had me in stitches.
The contestants are singer Francis Black, Bewitched's Edele Lynch, Snake charmer Emma Quinlan, model Daniella Moyles, Boyzone's Mikey Graham, Fair City's Maclean Burke, Hardy Bucks Martin Maloney, the guy who brought down Barings Bank Nick Leeson, Olympic boxer Michael Conlan and novelist Amanda Brunker. Amanda revealed to 98FM she was terrified watching the first episode,“It's a bit shock and awe at the moment. It's scary to watch back, you're seeing other peoples version of events, people giving out about you, it's funny. But I knew I was going to be presented as a bit of a bully on the first episode.” Edele Lynch had a particular grip with Amanda Brunker and tonight the claws are out. But Amanda seems to be taking it in her stride, “Edele doesn't like me and what's very disconcerting it I thought we were friends. I just speak my mind, If I'm going to slag someone I'll do it to their face and say that was brutal, what were you thinking cop on.”The boardroom hot seat will be occupied by entrepreneur and business leader Caroline Downey, she's taking over from Bill Cullen. Caroline will of course have the help and feedback of her associates; entrepreneur John Maguire and former TD Liz O'Donnell. Celebrity Apprentice kicks of tonight on TV3 at 9pm.
