A man in his 30s has been hospitalised after being seriously injured by group of people in Dublin last night.
The alleged assault took place at a residential complex in East Wall at around 8:45pm.
Gardaí say criminal damage was also caused to the man's car, and around four other cars which were parked in the area.
The victim was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, and a garda investigation has now been launched.
