Dogs Should Also Be Kept Away From The Water
Local TD Cormac Devlin says people should keep their dogs away from the water for the time being too:
"I've had pet owners tell me in the past that their dogs have gotten extremely sick as well as obviously humans getting sick after swimming in these times."
"So it is important that all would heed the notice, to make sure nobody gets sick in the next few days."
"The water quality tests are due back in the next few days, hopefully it'll resume and all will be back to normal in the next couple of days."
