Dublin's New Year's Festival has been cancelled.
Six events were planned on December 31st and January 1st at Dublin Castle, including concerts involving Hudson Taylor and Gavin James.
While Picture This were due to play the sold-out countdown concert.

Fáilte Ireland says they decided to cancel the two-day festival following the government's latest announcement of public health measures.
Following the Government’s announcement of new public health measures, @Failte_Ireland, with @DubCityCouncil and their event partners, has taken the decision to cancel @NYFDublin.
Ticketholders will be contacted directly over the coming days and will receive a full refund.
