Dubliners are being urged to walk, cycle or use public transport if they can tomorrow in order to avoid being snarled up by tomorrow’s hauliers’ protest over fuel prices.
Gardaí are warning of potential traffic disruption at the rush hour peaks as lorry drivers gather at motorway service stations before travelling in convoy to the city at 7am.

It’s the second such protest organised through an anonymous Facebook group, from which the Irish Road Haulage Association has distanced itself.
Retail Excellence Ireland says the group will put livelihoods in danger by causing major disruption at a crucial time of the year for sale.
