Tenants searching for houses in Dublin are being charged a fee to apply for accommodation.
The Irish Independent reports real estate agent Greystar is charging people 45 euro to apply for two of its complexes.
Anyone looking to rent an apartment in Griffith Wood or Quayside Quarter must pay a fee in order to be considered.
The Griffith Wood apartment complex is located at Grace Park near Marino.
Quayside Quarter is a new development along the Dublin Docklands.

Other reports suggest estate agents are requiring potential tenants to meet a certain income threshold to rent a room.
Mick Barry of People Before Profit TD believes it's only a matter of time before there's a mass protest.
He says a protest movement is needed to avoid further exploitation.
"It's absolutely scandalous," he said. "It also shows we need to build a housing protest movement."
"There should be legislation introduced to make it illegal."
"These people are just going to drive their advantage home and exploit people mercifully."
