A Lotto ticket that won €2.5M in Friday's EuroMillions was sold at Supervalu in Donabate.
The winning quick pick ticket was sold on Thursday 3rd October at Kane’s/McCartney’s.
The lucky player matched five numbers and one lucky star.
It means they are now €2,521,015 richer.
Players don't normally win such high prizes for matching five numbers and one lucky star.
However, because the EuroMillions jackpot has reached its cap of €190m, smaller prizes are boosted in size.
The National Lottery is still waiting to hear from the lucky ticket-holder and has issued a fresh appeal to players in North County Dublin to check their tickets.
This week, for the first time ever, if the €190m jackpot isn't won it will be shared among winners at lower prize tiers.
The jackpot has rolled to a maximum five draws at the €190 million cap.
This means that if there is no winner of the €190 million jackpot on Tuesday 8th October, the full value of the jackpot will flow down to the next prize tier.
It with a possibility of multiple millionaires across the entire EuroMillions community.
