A Dublin 4 pub says it will stay closed until further notice after a worker was confirmed to have coronavirus.
Slattery's says the HSE's Contact Tracing System has notified anyone affected and all employees are being tested.
Management say the part-time staff member contracted the virus outside of work.

Irial Slattery, owner, says: “In the interests of health and safety, we have undertaken the difficult decision to close until further notice. While we are disappointed, it is a small price to pay to ensure the safety of our valued customers. All persons who need to be notified have been contacted by the HSE Contact Tracing System, and we are taking all necessary steps to ensure a safe and speedy reopening. We take our responsibility within the community very seriously and customer safety is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding at this difficult time and look forward to welcoming you all back as soon as it is safe to do so.”
Slattery’s wish their staff member a speedy recovery and look forward to reopening their doors as soon as it is safe to do so.
