Dublin has been named one of Europe's leading tech centres.
The capital was ranked 3rd as part of fDi Tech Cities 2020. London took the top spot, followed by Paris.
fDi Intelligence collected data from more than 76 locations and ranked them according to Economic Potential, Innovation & Attractiveness, FDI Performance, Cost Effectiveness, Start-up Environment and broad FDI Strategy.
Dublin scored particularly well on FDI Performance, taking 2nd place.
The city is home to a number of leading tech companies including Facebook and Twitter,
Commenting on the results, Owen Keegan, Chief Executive of Dublin City Council said;
"Dublin’s position as one of the leading tech cities in Europe has helped the city’s resilience during these challenging times and will continue to help as the economy recovers."
He went on to say the local authority is committed to supporting the city’s tech eco system.
