A Dublin GAA club has lodged an objection to plans for hundreds of apartments in north Dublin.
The development of the site beside St Anne's Park in Raheny led to protests by locals last year.
Clontarf GAA have submitted an observation to the fast-track plans for 657 apartments on land beside St Paul's College, according to the Herald.
Last year, planning permission was granted for 536 houses and apartments but it was challenged by locals in the High Court and later turned down by the planners.
Residents were concerned about the impact on brent geese in the area, the loss of the amenity for the community and that the plan was an over-development of the land.
The North Dublin club, which has more than 2,000 members, says it has been left badly affected since the playing pitches were sold to developers in 2015 and is desperately short of playing facilities.
A decision on the plan is due on February 13th next year.
