Christmas is a time of togetherness, gifting and giving for some of us it's the season of Christmas sandwiches! So many spots around the country bring a festive flavour to their menu, from turkey and stuffing, cranberry sauce, oozy brie and much more. Meltdown in Dublin has done just that!
Their Christmas special called Happy Cheesemas features turkey, cranberry mayo, white cheddar, stuffing, smoked bacon and brie cheese and trust us, you'll want to devour this. Of course, their top tier toasties are still available to eat in, takeaway or get delivered.
Meltdown starting trading in 2018 as a pop-up for 3 months on Stephen Street Lower. Not long after, the opportunity to open up in Temple Bar by The Button Factory came along where it remained for almost two years. Their current space on Montague Street opened in November 2020 and has been buzzing ever since.
While toasties might be the perfect lunchtime treat, Meltdown also offer a great breakfast menu including breakfast burritos, croissants and some seriously beautiful sausage rolls too. They also produce a seriously banging hot sauce which you can pick up in store and at a number of independent outlets around the country.
