Dublin City Council has waived all street furniture fees until the end of 2022.
A brochure has also been published today, outlining guidelines for outdoor dining and rules for businesses use of public spaces.
The Street Furniture Guidelines brochure also details how businesses can apply for the Temporary Covid Street Furniture Permit.
Lord Mayor Hazel Chu says the waiver is the latest initiative to support Dublin businesses to get back on their feet.
"We are very conscious of the financial pressure hospitality businesses across the City are under during these very difficult times," she said.
DCC are also encouraging tourism and hospitality businesses to apply for funding for outdoor tables and chairs.
