Dublin Bikes will not be available from 6pm this evening until 5am tomorrow due to a disruption to its online service.

It is moving to a new platform tomorrow which will see the launch of a different website and an app for users.
The operators say:
'There may also be some disruption to the service and limited availability of bikes as a result for a few days prior to the upgrade.'
'Once the new platform is live, there is a requirement to move to a 6 Digit PIN number system.'
'Please add 00 to the end of your current 4 Digit PIN number when taking out a bike or accessing the system from January 19th.'
People are being advised that there may some limited availability of bikes as a result for a few days.
