Dublin has been named one of the best places in the world to spend Christmas.
The capital's cozy pubs, Christmas markets and decked-out shops along Grafton Street were among the reasons Condé Nast Traveller featured the city.
The Moving Crib in St. Martin Apostolate’s basement on Parnell Square also got a mention as part the travel magazine's roundup of 32 destinations.
It noted the attraction "has been charming families with its mechanical figures depicting scenes like Noah’s Ark" for 66 years.
While the Westbury was recommended as the place to stay during a festive trip saying the hotel "becomes even more luxurious during the holidays".
The list of the best Christmas destinations also includes the likes of Inari in Finland, Paris The Maldvies, Hong Kong and New York City.
