Drugs worth €194,000 have been seized in Dublin.
Almost 7 kilos of cannabis, heroin, methamphetamine, butane honey oil and hash cakes were discovered in parcels at two locations today, with the help of detector dogs Sam and Bailey.
They had come from the US, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, France, Canada, the Netherlands and the UK.
A Revenue spokesperson says: "Today as a result of routine profiling, Revenue officers examining parcels at two premises in Dublin seized just over 6.9 kgs of various types of drugs including herbal cannabis, cannabis resin, heroin, methamphetamine, butane honey oil and hash cakes, with an estimated value of approximately €194,000.
Investigations are continuing.
