We love the representation of Irish talent!
Hozier is releasing new music this week, and with that, he released a music video for his song 'De Selby (Part 2)' starring actor Domhnall Gleeson.
This isn't the first time a well known Irish actor has starred in one of Hozier's music video. Carlow's finest Saoirse Ronan starred in the video for "Cherry Wine" back in 2016.
The name of the song is is named after the character from Flann O'Brien's 'The Third Policeman' novel. Similar to the story, in the music video Gleeson travels across wild landscape without realising that he's actually dead.
"I’m very proud to release this collaborative video for ‘De Selby (Part 2)’ featuring the incredible Domhnall Gleeson and directed by the great Wolf James," Hozier said as he shared the news with fans.
"Working together with such creative talents toward this piece was a pleasure, and I’m honored that Domhnall Gleeson would bring his remarkable skills and this stunning performance to my work.”
