St. Vincent’s Hospital in Fairview is looking for a developer to build a new facility on the site.
In exchange the successful bidder will get undeveloped land and existing hospital buildings.
The entire plot consists of 21 acres just north of Dublin city centre, with access from Richmond Road.
The development partner will have to deliver on a new purpose-built 100 bed mental health centre.
St. Vincent’s Hospital provides psychiatric services to the North Dublin Central area. The new facility will accommodate a mental health campus, along with a number of day centre facilities.
In return for the new campus, the hospital will transfer around 13 acres of land to the successful bidder.
It's thought the site could accommodate up to 600 residential units.
