Traffic remains very heavy westbound on the N4/M4 between Junction 3 Lucan and Junction 6 Celbridge. Not far away, it's very slow into Celbridge itself on the Dublin Rd.
It’s very slow on the N7 outbound between J3 Citywest and J5 Athgoe.
Gardaí were conducting checkpoints on the N4 as part of #OperationFanacht.
