Staff from at least six Debenhams Ireland stores will hold protests outside the buildings today.
In Dublin, workers will mount demonstrations from 11am at the Henry Street, Blackrock, Blanchardstown and Tallaght outlets.
The company announced earlier this month that it was going into liquidation, shutting all stores and leaving around 2,000 people without a job.
Debenhams has 11 shops in Ireland.
The workers believe the company is using Covid 19 as a "convenient" excuse to leave Ireland.
Shop steward at the Henry Street store is Jane Crowe. She says all the products were packed away before any restrictions were brought in;
"We were told it was in case of looting. There its all packed up now for the liquidator to do whatever he wants with it."
She says everyone is heartbroken; "The shutters are down, there's no staff in there for them to put out. Our personal belongings are still in there in all our lockers, we've had no access to any of that."
