The NCT test centre in Deansgrange in South Dublin had the highest pass rate than any other centre in the country last year.
The figures compiled by Indenpendent.ie also reveal that a total of 14 testing centres had pass rates below 50 percent.
Deansgrange had a pass rate of 62.65 per cent, compared to some centres below 50 per cent.
The South Dublin facility was also the busiest testing facility last year, seeing 86,374 cars come through its doors.

The NCT center in Derrybeg in Donegal had the lowest pass rate at just over 40 per cent.
Motorists getting their cars tested in Cavan town and Clifden in Galway also faired badly, with just 42.25 per cent and 43.96 per cent of cars passing inspection in the last 12 months.
A total of 14 testing centres had pass rates of below 50 per cent.
The national average was 54.29 per cent in 2022, which is up more than 1.5 per cent on the previous year.
