The father of three young children, who were found dead at their home in Dublin, has received over a thousand letters and postcards while in self-isolation.
The bodies of Conor, Daragh and Carla McGinley were discovered at their home in Newcastle on January 24th.
Their mother has since been charged with their murder.
Last week their father Andrew McGinley appealed for letters on twitter to keep him company.
I’m looking for a favour. I’m struggling with isolation like you all but really missing the company. I was also enjoying most of the letters that I received so I have a request. Can you write to me? If you feel like using one of your An Post postcards then great. Letters welcome. pic.twitter.com/V72gLbGbtC

He has since received hundreds from people around the country.
I possibly should have thought this through 😀
Thank you all
