Cocaine was the most seized drug in Ireland this year.
Gardaí have seized 2,500 tonnes of the drug, totaling about €175 million.
The largest seizure of cocaine this year was on the MV Matthew, which was intercepted by the Defence Forces off the Cork Coast in September.
It was the largest seizure in the history of the state and was worth €157 million.
Overall, €211 million worth of drugs were recovered in 2023.
It included the seizure of €35 million worth of cannabis herb and cannabis resin.
While heroin with a street value of €8.5 million was also taken by Revenue and Gardaí.
