There are claims that people in North Dublin are being issued with warning notices by their bosses as the bus service makes them late for work.
Sinn Féin TD Louise O'Reilly says in her Dublin-Fingal constituency many parents are also being forced to drive their children to school because the bus service often doesn't turn up.
She says commuters are being let down by the bus time and again and referenced the 33 and the 33X.

Speaking in the Dail she said:
''I have already corresponded directly with the Minister for Transport regarding the famous North County Dublin disappearing buses. The bus is up on display and you stand there and you wait. And then the bus disappears off the display and you've no idea when it's going to come.''
