Chelsea's Irish fans could get even more than they bargained for after Frank Lampard added several key players to his squad for this weekend's friendlies in Dublin.
Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic have all linked up with the squad at their Carton House training base, ahead of the games against Bohemians and St Pats.
Wednesday's game against Bohs at Dalymount Park will be Lampard's first as manager of the club, having signed a three-year-deal to replace Maurizio Sarri last week.
Following that, Lampard will bring his team across the capital to Richmond Park on Saturday, where they will face St Pats. Both games have been sold out for some time.
Marcos Alonso, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ross Barkley, Olivier Giroud, Andreas Christensen, David Luiz and Emerson Palmieri have also arrived into Lampard's group for the week's pre-season training.
Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount have both arrived too, with the pair having enjoyed successful loan spells last term at Aston Villa and Derby respectively. Abraham helped Villa earn promotion to the Premier League by defeating Mount’s Derby, managed at the time by Lampard, in the play-off final.
With Chelsea currently banned from registering any new players, Abraham and Mount are among several of this week's squad who will have the chance to impress, having been out on loan last season.
Kurt Zouma, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Michy Batshuayi all spent last season away from the club but could form part of Lampard's plans.
