The Fresh Prince star is back!
After a surprise appearance at Coachella with J Balvin where the 55 year old took to the stage in full Men in Black attire, Smith has been announced to take over the BET awards this Sunday showcasing his new song!
An organiser of the BET awards has expressed how much of an ‘Icon’ Smith is to have in a recent interview, saying: "From his start as a rapper to The Fresh Prince to being a box office king as one of the Bad Boys, Will Smith is truly a global icon, and we are honoured to welcome him back to grace the BET Awards stage".
Everything about the stars new music is all kept very quiet, but in May this year Smith hinted of a project that was in the works for the past year and a half!
In an interview with ET he said 'without question the most personal, powerful music that I’ve ever made.' His last single ‘Get Lit’ was released in 2017 but his last album ‘Lost and Found’ was released nearly 20 years ago!!!
The star will also be in a star studded line-up with performances from Ice Spice, Tyla and Cardi B.
