Turns out we’ve all been saying Tulisa’s name wrong!
Before she headed into the jungle to take part in this years series of I’m A Celeb, the singer appeared on Olivia Atwood’s podcast So Wrong it's Right, and was asked about her name.
“Tulisa is not your actual name," Olivia prompted to which Tulisa replied: “No, it isn't. You're the first person to bring that up ever. Love that."
The singer revealed that her full name is Tula Paulinea Contostavlos and that she was named after her grandmother.
“My grandmother is also called Tula, so I was named after her," she explained. "So Tulisa means 'tiny Tula' in Greek."
She also revealed the surprising origin behind the name of N-Dubz, the band she got her start in.
The singer was just 11 when they started the band, before she went on to have a solo career and a brief stint as an X-Factor judge.
As the campmates sat around the fire on Monday night’s episode, Strictly star Oti Mabuse asked Tulisa about her time in N-Dubz.

The singer explained that her cousin Dappy had hoped to be a solo star but that his father advised that a group including a girl would be better. He also suggested including Fazer, Dappy’s best friend at the time. And thus, N-Dubz was born.
“My uncle offered me 20 quid and then I bartered him up to 50,” Tulisa explained, smiling.
When asked where the name came from, Tulisa explained that it comes from the name of their home area in North West London, NW.
