You gotta admire Tom Cruise's zest for life š
In a video shared by Paramount Pictures on Sunday, the Hollywood star took a break from filming the new Mission Impossible movie to thank fans for watching Top Gun: Maverick
The movie, a sequel released 36 years after the original Top Gun, smashed box office records, earning $600 million in its 7 first weeks.

Of course the 60-year-old actor doesn't do things by half, there was no way he was sending a thank-you message from his kitchen table.
When you have no fear in the world you simply have to jump out of a plane š
The video begins with Cruise sitting inside of a helicopter while preparing for a skydiving scene.
"I didn't want the year to end without thanking you all for coming out to the theaters and thank you for supporting Top Gun: Maverick"
After being interrupted by directorĀ McQuarrie, who told Cruise that āweāve got to get this shot,ā Cruise gracefully jumped out of the helicopter.
āWhere was I?ā Cruise said, his arms outstretched in the air. āThank you for supporting āTop Gun: Maverickā and (as) always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honor of a lifetime.ā
He goes on to promote Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part One which is set for release next summer. Part Two is planned for the following year.
