You gotta admire Tom Cruise's zest for life šŸ˜‚

In a video shared by Paramount Pictures on Sunday, the Hollywood star took a break from filming the new Mission Impossible movie to thank fans for watching Top Gun: Maverick

The movie, a sequel released 36 years after the original Top Gun, smashed box office records, earning $600 million in its 7 first weeks.

Of course the 60-year-old actor doesn't do things by half, there was no way he was sending a thank-you message from his kitchen table.

When you have no fear in the world you simply have to jump out of a plane šŸ˜‚

The video begins with Cruise sitting inside of a helicopter while preparing for a skydiving scene.

"I didn't want the year to end without thanking you all for coming out to the theaters and thank you for supporting Top Gun: Maverick"

After being interrupted by directorĀ  McQuarrie, who told Cruise that ā€œweā€™ve got to get this shot,ā€ Cruise gracefully jumped out of the helicopter.

ā€œWhere was I?ā€ Cruise said, his arms outstretched in the air. ā€œThank you for supporting ā€˜Top Gun: Maverickā€™ and (as) always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honor of a lifetime.ā€

He goes on to promote Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part One which is set for release next summer. Part Two is planned for the following year.
