It’s official!
Netflix have given the long-awaited Peaky Blinders movie the green light.
Tommy Shelby returns. A Peaky Blinders Film starring Cillian Murphy is coming to Netflix.

The show’s star Cillian Murphy confirmed the news in a statement yesterday.
“It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me," the Oscar winner said of the Netflix news. "It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans."
Steven Knight, the show’s writer, also said: "I’m genuinely thrilled that this movie is about to happen. It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred. Full-on Peaky Blinders at war."
So far Cillian Murphy is the only cast member confirmed for the spin off movie but we’re sure we’ll be hearing updates soon of our favourite characters returning to their roles, as filming is set to take place later this year.
It’ll be Cillian Murphy’s first time returning to the role of Tommy Shelby after winning the Oscar for Best Actor earlier this year for his role in Oppenheimer.
We’re glad to see after a busy couple of years he still has time for Tommy Shelby!
