It turns out Taylor Swift was turned down for a cameo in Twilight!
Chris Weitz director of the movie franchise revealed that the 'Bad Blood' singer wanted to star in the original movie back in 2009, but explained why he had to turn her down.
In a recent interview on the podcast 'The Twilight Effect With Ashley Greene and Melanie Howe', he said “Taylor Swift was a huge Twi-hard and Taylor Swift and I had the same agent at the time, and he said, ‘Taylor would like to be in this movie, not because of you, but she’s a Twi-hard.'” (Which seems to be the word used to describe Twilight fans)
Chris' agent said that Taylor’s role could even be “someone at the cafeteria or the diner” Because she would have taken any role to appear in the movie.
Chris continued “She must have been like, ‘Who is this jerk?’ But sometimes you make decisions thinking this is for the best of the film.”
