Sofía Vergara and her husband of 7 years, Joe Manganiello, are getting a divorce according to reports by Page Six.
The Hollywood couple made a statement: to the publication:
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Sofia is best known for playing Gloria on Modern Family (and has been cited a number of times as one of the highest paid women in television) and Joe Manganiello is known for his roles in True Blood and Magic Mike.
The couple first met at a White House Correspondents dinner through Sofia's Modern family costar Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and the pair got married in a lavish ceremony on Palm Beach back in 2015
