Saoirse Ronan is opening up about her plans to have children.
In a new interview with British Vogue, the Ladybird star said that she has thought about having a family of her own one day.

She told the publication that she feels grateful knowing that she has the option of taking a step back from her acting career if she wants to start a family.
“I became successful when I was quite young. So it meant that, actually, by the time I found my partner, I’m now at the stage where, if it happened, I would like to have a kid.”
“I feel fortunate enough that, if I step out of this for a minute, I’m hopefully not giving it up forever. But, yeah, I’ve always wanted that,” she confirmed.
The Carlow native recently married fellow actor Jack Lowden in a private ceremony in Scotland.
The pair first met on the set of Mary Queen Of Scots back in 2018.
The couple are notoriously private and their wedding was reportedly very small, with only a few close family and friends present.
The Independent reported: “Only a handful of the couple’s closest friends were present – and all the guests were sworn to secrecy.”
Saoirse Ronan is currently starring in two new films The Outrun and Blitz.
