But he doesn't want to be called 'Grandad"!
We've finally heard from Ronan Keating since the (relatively) surprising news that his 21-year-old son Jack had become a dad earlier this month.
(And the juicy revelation that this baby came 8 months *after* his stint on Love Island).
Jack made the initial announcement on his Instagram, and at the time all we'd seen from Ronan was a simple 'Little Cutie ❤️" in the comment section.

Until now that's all we heard from Ronan but last night while presenting the One Show, his co-host Jermaine Jenas poked fun at him by responding to one of his lines with "Well said Grandad."
After a playful "Oi!" the singer replied "Yes I am. My son had gorgeous baby."
He also revealed that he's not fond of being called "grandad" and instead he prefers to go by "pops"
