Mother Monster could be set to put on the biggest performance of her career. There's reports Lady Gaga is in talks to headline the 2017 Superbowl Halftime Show.
Gaga seems to have impressed NFL bosses, after she delivered an incredible performance of the US national anthem at Super Bowl 50.
According to Billboard, organisers are "hot on the singer" to get her to take to the stage for the halftime slot at the NRG Stadium in Houston on February 5th.
Last month during her concert in LA, Adele claimed she had been approached to perform at the event.
“First of all, I'm not doing the Super Bowl", Adele told fans.
“I mean, come on! That show is not about music. And I don't really...I can't dance or anything like that. They were very kind. They did ask me, but I did say no.”
She added: “I'm sorry but maybe next time.”
However, the organisation released a statement shutting down the singer's claims.
“The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show,” the statement read.
“However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time.”
Madonna, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson and Katy Perry are just some of the acts that have previously performed at the Super Bowl.
