It may have been his night, but Paul Mescal’s family got all glammed up to join him on the red carpet of Gladiator II’s Irish premiere in Dublin last night.

The Kildare actor and his family reunited on the red carpet last night, sharing an emotional moment where they all looked equally shocked at the enormous crowds.
Paul’s mam Dearbhla and sister Nell were the height of glamour as they stepped out in gorgeous black dresses. Paul Mescal Sr looked just as dapper as his son as he donned a black suit and tie.
Paul said that his entire extended family were in attendance at the premiere, and how much it meant to him to have their support.
"It's bringing it home not only to Ireland, but my entire extended family are here tonight."
"You make film for public consumption but you're also making it for the people that you love and they're all here tonight, so it's a very very important moment."
Gladiator II is out in cinemas on November 15th.
