A sequel to Normal People perhaps?
Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar jones have teased an upcoming announcement.
The two were propelled to super stardom back in 2020 when they starred as the leads in Normal People, the adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel (and everyone’s lockdown obsession).
The pair have remained great friends ever since they starred in the popular series, with and fans have constantly speculating whether they’re secretly a couple.
Right now however all we know for sure is that they’re great friends and they have “news to share” soon!
Earlier this week Daisy Edgar-Jones took to her Instagram Stories to share a selfie with Paul Mescal in which they revealed that they have an announcement to share with fans soon.
"We've got some news to share !!" read text on the post.
Along with an emoji of a red heart, they added, "Watch this space."
Wild speculation has already begun on what the news could be, although many suspect it’s an upcoming project unrelated to their Normal People roots.
With casting news coming out of for movies like Knives Out and clues that Paul Mescal is looking to score a role in a romcom, fans have plenty of theories on what the upcoming news is.
We’ll just have to wait and see!
