Nicola Coughlan talks Stranger Things audition
Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan has revealed she auditioned to play Robin in Stranger Things years ago.
The part ultimately went to Maya Hawke, who became a fan favourite.

Nicola made the revelation during a recent interview with BuzzFeed.
She said, 'I auditioned to play Robin, Maya Hawke got it.'
'She was far better than I ever would have been.'
'It's a good lesson to actors: Watch the stuff you didn't get, because you'll totally understand how it's not personal.'
'You're just right for some things, and you're not right for other things,' the Irish actress said.
Nicola went on to land the role of Penelope Bridgerton in the hit Shondaland series Bridgerton.

She also just wrapped up the final season of Derry Girls.
Nicola played Clare Devlin in the show, which shot her to fame.
