The highly acclaimed magazine releases a yearly TIME100 Next List, recognising 100 emerging leaders from around the world shaping the future and defining the next generation of leadership.
Each year, guest contributors and list members are paired for the TIME100 Next list.
For this year’s list, Grey’s Anatomy and Bridgerton creator Shonda Rhimes was paired with Nicola Coughlan. Other pairings were Christina Aguilera with Sabrina Carpenter and Mindy Kaling with One Day star Ambika Mod.

Speaking about the Bridgerton star, Shonda Rhimes wrote: “Nicola Coughlan may be best known for her stellar portrayal of the sharp-witted Lady Whistledown, but in real life, she is so much more.”

Nicola shared the incredible accolade on her Instagram, thanking Time Magazine for the honour and Shonda Rhimes for her kind words.
“An unbelievable and overwhelming honour to be included in the Time 100 for 2024,” the actress wrote in the caption of the post.
“Couldn’t be more grateful to @time and to @shondarhimes for your beautiful words
