Could Niall Horan be the next Robbie Williams? Louis Walsh has broken his silence after it was confirmed One Direction will be taking a break next year. The former X Factor judge told the Independent that he reckons Niall will 'get a record deal and will be very successful.'
He added 'I think he will surprise everybody.'
Earlier Niall confirmed the news Directioners were dreading when he tweeted: 'Ok so Lots of rumours going round. We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year. Don't worry though, we still have lots we want to achieve ! Can't wait for you to hear all the new music we have for you and to perform. Some new songs as the tour continues! Love you all xx'
