Mrs. Brown's Boys has been voted the best British Sitcom of the last century!
That's according to the Radio Times readers. Mrs. Brown's Boys came out on top, ahead of The Office, and The Thick Of It, and Peep Show.
Speaking about it, Brendan O'Carroll said it was "breathtaking", adding that he's "Lost for words... and that doesn't happen to me very often".
He continued to say, "Myself and [wife and co-star] Jenny [Gibney] are dancing around
the living room. I can die happy now... but I'll take my time. It vindicates the fans' belief in the show. They have kept us on the air - it certainly wasn't the reviewers. There is an audience out there that comedy forgot - that Are You Being Served? audience has been left behind. Us winning this award proves that."
