Meghan Markle said that Mary Robinson is someone she admires most in a recent speech.
Meghan was giving a speech at the One Young World summit which is a global forum with the goal to give young people a voice. The Duchess Of Sussex delivered the speech in Manchester when she praised the former Irish president.
Meghan Joined the One Young World Summit in 2014.
The Duchess revealed that she met Robinson at an event in Ottawa back in 2016.
In Meghan's speech she said: 'I was very lucky to receive a day off from filming, specifically to take a quick flight from Toronto up to Ottawa and to be able to join this work again for One Young World - being with some people I admire most, including former President of Ireland Mary Robinson.
She continued: 'There I was, the girl from Suits (tv show). 'I was surrounded by world leaders, humanitarians, prime ministers and activists that I had such a deep and long-standing respect and admiration for, and I was allowed in, to pull up a seat at the table.
