What a lovely way to remember him❤️

Lisa Kudrow has said that she’s rewatching Friends for the first time since it aired, and it’s all because of her late friend and costar Matthew Perry.

The 60-year-old actress admitted that she never rewatched the show in the last 20 years because she found watching herself on screen “embarrassing”.

But all that’s changed since the untimely passing of Matthew Perry.

“Honestly, I wasn’t able to watch it because it’s too embarrassing to watch yourself. But if I make it about Matthew, then that’s OK,” Kudrow recently told The Hollywood Reporter. “And it’s just celebrating how hilarious he was – and that is what I want to remember [about him].”

The actor, who played the hilarious Chandler Bing on the show, was found dead in his Los Angeles home last October. He was just 54.

A toxicology report later confirmed that he had died from “acute effects of ketamine,” which caused the actor to drown in his hot tub. Sources close to the actor said he was undergoing ketamine infusion therapy to treat depression and anxiety.

The circumstances under which the actor tragically passed away are still under investigation and it’s believed a number of people could be held accountable for his death.

In the aftermath of his death, the cast members of Friends released a joint statement.

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family."

"There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
