Lily Allen, known for being a cool (and maybe slightly edgy) singer, has revealed she was a major Boyzone fan in her youth, and that she was "in love" with Stephen Gately.

Who would have thought? A follower quizzed her on her favourite song in the replies and she came back with 'Love Me For A Reason'.
Her reminiscing on her past crushes seemingly came out of nowhere, but it had fans also thinking fondly on their memories of Stephen Gately.
"He was the absolute best and gorgeous. My room was covered in boyzone posters but Stephen was my favourite. Even had a Stephen doll." one reply under Lily Allen's tweet read.
Another wrote: ""I loved Stephen Gately, he was my favourite too. I saw him in Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat in the west end and he was brilliant. Such a talent taken too soon."
Stephen Gately sadly died back in 2009 at the age of 33.
We have to agree with Lily. 'Love Me For A Reason' is an absolute classic!
