Watch out Zayn Malik, Liam Payne is officially going solo. The One Direction star has revealed he has signed a record deal with Capitol Records in the UK.
Liam confirmed the news on Twitter this evening, posting: "Happy to have signed to @CapitolUK," he wrote. "They have an amazing history of artists, I hope I can follow in their footsteps."
He then seemingly tried to reassure 1D fans, who has been freaking out about the band's future.
"One direction will always be my home and family but I'm very excited to see what this chapter brings."

It doesn't look like One Direction will be getting back together any time soon. Last month it was reported that Harry Styles had signed a solo contract with Columbia Records.
Styles was the second 1D singer to go solo, following Zayn Malik - who quit the band in 2015.
