Leonardo DiCaprio is getting a bit of heat right now as a video is going viral of him “snubbing” a traditional Fijian welcome ceremony at a hotel in Fiji.
The video is currently doing the rounds on TikTok, where Leonardo Di Caprio appears engrossed in a phone call as he walks past hotel staff performing a traditional song and dance.

The video shows the actor walk straight outside to a waiting van without acknowledging the performers, which sparked outrage on social media.
"Don't waste your energy my fiji whānau, he's so disrespectful omg," one user wrote.
“Ohhh what a snob. At least he should have acknowledged the welcome by our country. No place like Fiji,” another person commented.
Another speculated that the phone call was a calculated move to avoid interaction. "Old phone trick aye! "
Others favoured giving Leonardo Di Caprio the benefit of the doubt.
"Was the reception for him? If not, then he didn’t do anything disrespectful. He didn’t draw attention to himself, just walked past," one user wrote.
"It’s sweet but I doubt he wants attention. Now everyone knows he’s there. Duh," a TikTok user reasoned.
