Kylie Minogue is “buzzing” after headlining Electric Picnic at the weekend.
The Australian superstar drew in a record crowd of 75,000 as she closed out the festival’s final night.
Posting a video of her weekend to her social media in the early hours of Monday morning, the singer wrote: “When they called it Electric Picnic, they really meant…. ELECTRIC. I’m going to be buzzing for a while. Thank you thank you thank you Ireland!!!!”

This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of Electric Picnic and organisers say they have plans to make it even bigger.
One of its promoters Melvin Benn says he can see the festival increasing its capacity but is “quite happy with where we are right now”.
Speaking to RTÉ he said: “It’s up to the council to see if there is more room” but added that “I am on the receiving end of aggressive behaviour from some individuals nearing retirement age”.
