Johnny McDaid says he's been working with Harry Styles on the One Direction star's solo material. The Snow Patrol guitarist says the pair have been working on an 'informal basis' and that Harry's solo music will 'shock' the world.
Harry has yet to confirm any plans to launch a solo career, but McDaid has confirmed they've been writing songs together for years.
Speaking to the Press Association:, McDaid said: "He's really authentic and he has an incredible voice, so we've been writing a lot of songs. We've been writing songs for years together.
"I'm really excited by the way he's sounding at the minute, he's such a talent. I think the world is going to be really shocked at what he comes up with."
Johnny also says the pair have yet to head to into the studio together.
"We do the guerrilla thing. I've never been in a studio with Harry, we tend to just hang out at his house or mine, or we'll meet somewhere and set up in a living room."
"It's just the way he likes to do it and the way I like to do it, so it means that we can order takeout and kick up ideas."
With the One Direction hiatus being confirmed as 'indefinite', it's not know when Harry will release his solo material, but fingers crossed it'll be soon!
