Black mass star Johnny Depp accepted the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival last night.
The actor attended the event with wife Amber Heard, who Depp spoke very fondly about during his acceptance speech.
He said, "I also have to thank my wife Amber for putting up with me, for living with all these characters, which can't be easy".
"It's hard for me—it's got to be hard for her."
They 52 year old actor and the 29 year old actress will be celebrating their one year anniversary in a months time.
