The Screen Actors Guild, or SAG Awards took place in Los Angeles last night.

Colin Farrell won for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for The Penguin, in which he portrays the DC Comics villain of the same name.

Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis presented the Award to Irish actor, and jokingly mentioned that Colin "gave" her Covid at the Golden Globe Awards.

When he reached the stage, they both shared a hug with Colin opening his acceptance speech with "Guilty as charged, but Brendan Gleeson f****** gave it to me. So I was just spreading the love."

The Awards are voted on by Hollywood actors, who represent the biggest branch of the membership of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which votes for the Oscars. Therefore, the prizes are indicators of who is likely to win Academy Awards.
