People are divided on this one!
The Oscars were on Sunday night, and British movie star Hugh Grant walked the red carpet before the event.
He stood for an interview with American model and TV presenter Ashley Graham, and let's just say... there was a personality clash!
The 62-year-old actor, who would be known for his dry wit and sarcasm in interviews, wasn't responding to Ashley's questions in the way she was probably anticipating.
Firstly, Ashley asked him was he excited for any actors in particular to win, to which he replied: “No, not one in particular.”
Dead end there! Trying again, Ashley asks, “OK, well what are you wearing tonight, then?”
The response she got was: “Just my suit.”
I don’t understand this from Hugh Grant. If you don’t want to be interviewed, don’t take the mic, smile politely and keep walking. Kudos to @ashleygraham for trying repeatedly to get something interesting out of him. #Oscars pic.twitter.com/Q2AeUpPGRi

Graham then decided to ask Grant about the Knives Out sequel Glass Onion, in which he made a brief cameo appearance.
"So tell me what was it like to be in Glass Onion?” she asked, adding: “It was such an amazing film. I really loved it. How is it to shoot something like that?”
Hugh replied “Well, I'm barely in it. I'm in it for about three seconds.”
Desperately scrambling to get something out of him Ashley continues: “Yeah, but still, you showed up and you had fun, right?”, to which Hugh said: “Um, almost.”
At this point Ashley cuts her losses and wraps the interview up. Hugh appears to shake his head as he walks away - not impressed by the looks of it!
The exchange divided opinion on Twitter. Some people argued that this was just dry British humour and Hugh Grant was giving her honest responses. Other felts his responses were 'obnoxious' while commending Ashley for being gracious and persistent despite Hugh not returning the same energy.
i'm on team hugh grant here. he's trying to be nice and just keeps getting walled with dumb questions, he's not being a dick, it's just a bad interview. this has been this year's vapid oscars tweet https://t.co/WwbMF8ZNjj

Hugh Grant gave the most "I don't give a fucking shit about this" champagne carpet interview I've ever seen lmao. #Oscars

Ashley Graham was asked for her opinion on the awkward exchange at the Vanity Fair after party.
“My mother always told me to kill ‘em with kindness.” She added that she felt “very supported” after her exchange with Grant started trending on Twitter.
As long as everyone's happy in the end we guess! And we're glad to get moments like these while we're following along at home
I love that hugh grant just described the whole oscar spectacle as "a vanity fair" and the presenter thought he meant the vanity fair oscar party. #Oscars
